What if every child in the hospital didn’t feel like “just a patient”… but a hero on a journey?
At the Enchanted Hope Foundation, we believe that every child—whether facing a serious illness or walking alongside a sibling who is—deserves to feel seen, strong, and part of something magical.
That’s why we’ve created the Enchanted Adventure Satchel & Pin Program: a whimsical, storybook-inspired initiative that equips children with their very own Adventure Satchel filled with meaningful treasures—and an empowering mission to become a Forest Adventurer in the Enchanted Realm of Hope.
What’s in the Satchel?
Each crossbody Enchanted Adventure Satchel includes:
- Starter Enchanted Pin/ badge: Each child receives their first enamel pin/ badge representing a trait they already hold—like Bravery, Kindness, or Courage.
- Mini Story Scroll: A short magical scroll welcoming them to the Enchanted Realm, signed by our forest characters (like Princess Lily, Jackson the Brave, and Leo the Loyal).
- Activity Card: A gentle, age-appropriate mission to complete at their own pace—whether it’s making someone smile, sharing a story, or drawing their dream world.
- Character Cards
- Affirmation Cards
- Room to Grow: The satchel is designed to hold future pins and treasures as the child continues their adventure—be it in hospital, at home, or wherever their journey leads.

Children earn new custom-designed enamel pins as they:

This amount will cover the production of custom Enchanted Adventure Satchels – each filled will a beautifully illustrated activity book and card, affirmation cards, collectible pins and badges, and a dose of enchanted courage.

What’s Next for the Enchanted Adventure Satchel?
Once we’ve funded and distributed our first round of Enchanted Adventure Satchels to children in hospitals, we’re ready to take the magic even further.
Our Next Step: Bringing the Satchel to Life with Technology
We’re working on a simple, child-friendly tech enhancement to make each satchel even more meaningful and interactive. Our goal is to embed a small NFC smart tag (tap-enabled) inside every satchel. When tapped with a smartphone or tablet, this tag will unlock:
• Short videos and messages from beloved Enchanted Hope characters
• Soothing audio stories and affirmations to bring comfort anytime
• Printable coloring pages and digital activities
• Daily “bravery missions” that encourage kids to explore imagination and resilience
• A secure space for caregivers and families to receive encouragement and support
This technology will allow us to extend the impact of the satchel beyond the hospital room, offering children an immersive and ongoing source of hope and healing.
